Today was a looong AG day!!! Kailey and surprises!!!

I am still at home, since the bugs that colonized my tonsils refuse to ship out!

So I spent the day going around the house at the fast (NOT!) speed that I can go without getting my temperature climb up. But AG was going to change that soon!!!!

At noon the brown truck pulled over and dropped two boxes in my porch, despite drips from the melting snow... Rats! why don't they ring when they see both cars in the driveway???

In a second, both boxes were inside anyways.
One was (I thought) a replacement bubble robe for DDs doll. I ordered the robe, and they sent me the chocolate cherry outfit instead (what??? [img]eek.gif[/img] )
But no.... it was 4 empty boxes they were sending me, because I bought 4 Coconut Holiday accessory sets to give to DDs friend for the holidays... and they cam in already packaged for the outlet store and without boxes. Well... the boxes they sent me are the wrong size... so here I am a couple weeks from Xmas without boxes... [img]mad.gif[/img]

The other box was Kailey back from her second trip to the hospital! First time they replaced her neck strings for plastic ties, so she went back to get it right (I had TOLD them not to do that!!!)
Well... she came back beyond pristine! They even gave her her brand new braids back. Or in other words: this is not the doll I sent in! Don't care, since that doll did not spend a minute with me and this one is adorable. However, thsy should not do that without consulting, no???
The problem is... they wanted to charge me for limb replacement and shipping again, even though I've already paid and this trip was due to their snafu!!! [img]mad.gif[/img]

Well... I spent some good time on the phone with AG today, and I HOPE they will get the stuff fixed.

But the AG guardian angels did not want me to be all ****y... and when DH went to the thrif store today he called me and told me "there is a big binder thing in here that says Felicity Scenes and Settings... do you want it for $8.95?" Guess the answer!!!!

It is mint and... he even got his senior discount on it!!!

SO, over all, not a bad day, no???

Wow! I've seen those scenes and setting go for a pretty penny on ebay...what a find! I also sent a doll in and they replaced her string with a zip tie and I had left a note asking them not to! Do they even read these, I also didn't want the limbs replaced and guess what she came with...yep new limbs so she is going back on Thursday, but it's still very frustrating, I'm glad that your's turned out alright in the end. Congrats on your great find!

All I found today in a thrift store was a precious moment figurine from 1982 for $1! lol!

And my Addy cape Island outfit came! YAY!!! it is now retired too! glad I managed to get one shipped from AGPNY. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
